Minimum System Requirements

Free Disk Space - More than 10% free disk space. (This is a requirement of the Microsoft volume shadow copy service used by Hybir Backup.)
Internet connection - Although no minimum is required, good performance is achieved at about 1Mbps upstream bandwidth.

Memory - 1GB of memory or more
CPU - Dual core 2GHz CPU or better
Used Disk Space - 100GB or less.
User Data - "Documents and Settings" Folder on Windows XP - "Users" Folder on Windows Vista and Windows 7 - Less than 10GB used for overnight first backup.
Internet connection - 1Mbps upstream bandwidth or greater.

General usage - Email, documents, photos, websurfing, and virtually all business application.
Road warrior - Notebook user - Backup even while on the road!
Developer - Perfect fit for most development scenarios.
Netbooks - Works great!

Unrecommended Usage Scenarios

If you generate more than about 4GB of new data a day. We won't have that data and Hybir Backup may not be able to keep. You can always choose to exclude folders or files if your usage pattern exceeds your upload bandwidth for overnight backup.

DVR - if you use your pc as a digital video recorder it will generate a lot of data we don't have and may not be able
If you edit video everyday or are a professional video editor.
If you are a professional photographer or take more than 4GB of pictures a day.
If you run large databases, or busy email servers.
If you run virtualization software extensively.
if you run your PC as a server Hybir Backup may not be a viable backup solution.
if you collect media as a hobby (on your PC) Hybir Backup may not be a viable backup solution. If you have more than 50 full length movies or 40,000 songs you may be collecting media as a hobby.

Pricing Plans

Hybir Backup has three pricing plans. You may switch between pricing plans whenever you would like. If you decide to switch your remaining time is prorated at the price of the new plan. Hybir Backup measures the amount of data you backup as all of your data minus excluded files. If you have a 500GB hard drive with 100GB used and have 10GB excluded that would count as 90GB of data backed up.

The Hybir Backup Service

Hybir Backup is designed to Backup a single PC. Each account should be used with only one PC. You may switch your account to any PC as many times as you want. Although it is not convenient or recommended to use one account on multiple PCs.
Hybir Backup will save up to thirty backups. Backups older than thirty days are removed.
Hybir Backup is NOT an archiving service. Hybir Backup saves your data for at most thirty days.
You can backup whenever you want and as often as you like. Hybir Backup will however only save your last thirty backups.

A bit about data and FREE service

Hybir Backup is extremely efficient at backing up data that has already been backed up by you or someone else using Hybir Backup. Hybir Backup will get more efficient with more data. Some Other Cool Things

Hybir Backup uses multiple communication threads. If you use a load balanced Dual Wan, Both connections will be utilized. This also helps with network latency.
Hybir Backup flies on the new Solid State Drives. Scan and Analyze Performance scales with drive read speed.
Hybir Backup is a multithreaded application and works great on multi-core CPUs.

* Hybir Backup by default does not backup cache, temp files, or other files that are not needed to fully restore your PC.
